Buggy or Jeep Cozumel Adventure
You will love this day of snorkeling the Villa Blanca Reef and driving around Cozumel in a Jeep or dune buggy.
Start your adventure in the morning when you meet your guide at the pier. Your guide will take you directly to the dune buggy or Jeep, where your adventure begins.
Your first stop on this Cozumel excursion will be a snorkeling activity at the beach club. You will love swimming with all the Caribbean fish in the crystal clear waters. See the magnificent coral reef and all the marine life it attracts as you splash around the top of the water. This is an unforgettable Cozumel tour. All snorkeling equipment is included, and a dive master will be with you at all times during snorkeling, for your safety and to answer any questions you may have.
After snorkeling, enjoy a 25 minute drive around the island. Your guide will point out interesting landmarks on your way to the Tequila Museum. Once you arrive, you'll be able to explore the area and the museum. The Tequila Museum is fun and the view is spectacular. Your Cozumel excursion continues onto Punta Sur Park, where you can climb the oldest lighthouse in Cozumel, the Mayan Ruin el Caracol, and the Ecological Reserve. Bring your camera; you'll want to get some shots at this location for sure! A delicious Mexican lunch will be served, featuring fajitas, rice, beans, and tortillas. After you finish up, you'll head to downtown Cozumel where you can shop til you drop, before you make your way back to the pier.
Please Note: All dune buggies are equipped with manual transmission (stick shift). Buggies with automatic transmission are not available. The dune buggies can accommodate 4 guests. Stops will be made so that guests may take turns driving.
For those guests unable to drive a manual transmission buggy, you may choose a Jeep with automatic transmission. Please indicate on your order which type of vehicle type you prefer for this Cozumel excursion.

We recommend wearing shorts, a t-shirt, sneakers a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Restrictions
Guests must have a general knowledge of swimming and be comfortable in the water. The minimum age to attend the tour is 4 years of age. All guests must wear a flotation vest and sign a waiver to participate in snorkeling. Guests must be able to climb in and out of the vehicle and be able to sit in the seat with a seatbelt on. The maximum weight that can be accommodated in the vehicle is 220 pounds per person. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to drive, and must present a valid driver's license. Guests who cannot drive a manual (stick shift) drive vehicle will be matched up with guests who can. Guests with neck, back, or hip ailments, those who have had recent surgery, and pregnant women may not participate in this program. Guests under the influence, or appearing under the influence, of alcohol or other substances will not be allowed to operate a vehicle.

In that role, Mr. Miller was responsible for contributing to Abercrombie & Kent's international growth through the development and acquisition of tour products and travel experiences around the world with a specific focus on cruising and land based experiences. Prior to joining Abercrombie & Kent, Mr. Miller held a variety of executive positions with Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises for more than a decade. These positions included Vice President of Guest Sales & Service, Vice President of Brand Development, and Vice President of Onboard Revenue (which included shore excursions). Mr. Miller also led Celebrity Expeditions, a collection of outstanding and unique tours around the World.
Michael Bonner
Mr. Bonner has over a decade of experience working in the cruise industry in a variety of roles for both Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Viking River Cruises. Most recently, Mr. Bonner was the Chief Operating Officer for The Scholar Ship, a Royal Caribbean program aimed at providing college students onboard educational programs in conjunction with enriching shore excursions around the world. Mr. Bonner also helped co-manage Viking River Cruises U.S. Operations, and he ran the corporate, strategic, and deployment planning functions at Royal Caribbean.
